POWMRI Imaging

POWMRI Imaging operates a Philips 3 Tesla Achieva MRI which is available for research to approved investigators. The system is fully supported for fMRI, diffusion, spectroscopy, MRE, structural MRI, perfusion and is also 31P capable. We have a range of coils for most body parts, as well as a four channel RF coil for small rodents. The system is also part of the National Imaging Facility.

Persons wishing to access the facility should discuss their requirements in the first instance with the Senior Radiographer Kirsten Moffat or with Prof. Caroline Rae.

Use of the scanner is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
