Injuries from road accidents

Transport accidents in older adults

We are conducting a two-stage research project to identify risk factors for older people involved in motor vehicle crashes.

Injuries to children in car crashes

Children are often injured as car occupants or pedestrians. Our research currently focuses on monitoring the types of injuries Australian children suffer in road trauma, and developing improved restraint systems to prevent these injuries and encourage correct use of existing child restraints, and determining how restraint misuse affects injury potential.
